References for our summer camps:

Players provided written answers to the following questions:

  • Was the THM camp different from other camps you have attended? If yes, how?
  • What did you like most about the camp, and what was the most beneficial aspect for you?
  • What should we improve at the camp?

Sebastián Brath, MMHK Nitra:

1. We had more training sessions during the day and other activities that helped us progress.
2. I enjoyed working on challenges and competitions the most, and the lectures on important matters were the most beneficial for me.
3. In my opinion, we should increase the break between warm-up and breakfast because we didn’t have enough time. I enjoyed the camp… Thank you! 😁💪🏻

Maxim Guzman, HK Lokomotíva Nové Zámky:

1. Answer: It was different in the entire training process.
2. Answer: Biomechanics training, and I had the most benefit in skating.
3. Answer: Nothing, everything is perfect.

Patrik Lazárik, MHA Martin:

1. In the Skatemill, not everyone has it, at least where I was, they didn’t have it.
2. I liked the competitions for the tape the most, and the training on running technique was probably the most beneficial for me.
3. Nothing, it was great. Thank you for everything 🤝

Daniel Necpál, HKM a.s. Zvolen:

1. I liked the number of training sessions (more than in other camps) and their intensity (greater and better than in other camps).
2. The lectures were the most beneficial, where I learned something I didn’t know before, and the incorporation of Skatemill in the camp was also something completely new and I rate it positively.
3. I would improve that there was a small break between breakfast and the first training session for digestion. In conclusion, I would like to thank you for this camp and this experience, and I hope to see you again. Regards, Necpál.

Branislav Šajtlava, VLCI Žilina – mládež:

1. There was a Skatemill, which I didn’t know existed at all. Also, the lectures were great, something I hadn’t seen at any other camp. But I liked the difficulty of dryland training and on the ice the most.
2. I liked what I mentioned in 1., and I also liked the competitions and various tournaments.
3. The only thing I would probably improve is the food.

Rastislav Čavojský, HK Spartak Dubnica:

Question 1: Individual approach, Skatemill.
Question 2: Great group, lectures, approach.
Question 3: I didn’t notice anything that needs changing.

Viktor Košík, Barani – HŠMH o.z. Banská Bystrica:

Question 1: It stood out in the variety of training, and we did things that we will use on the ice and not just running for conditioning. We also had the opportunity to try the Skatemill.
Question 2: I liked the biomechanics training, where I learned new exercises that I can transfer to the ice, and I improved my skating technique, which I practiced on the Skatemill.
Question 3: We would need a snack and a mid-morning snack because we had to go to the store between training sessions because we were hungry. Maybe I also missed the bus transport, which would be better than several cars.

Erik Jančo, Barani – HŠMH o.z. Banská Bystrica:

1. The camp was different in that we could use our free time for shooting, skills, and strength training.
2. I liked the exercises in the gym the most, and together with on-ice training, they had the most significant impact on me.
3. I wouldn’t change anything at the camp because everything was great. 👍
